I have a cornelius brand co2 regulator that the low pressure gauge stopped working. I got a replacement gauge but not sure about getting the old one off. It appears to have some kind of green sealant (loctite maybe) around the threads. Helpful tips on getting this off without breaking the regulator?

Get a really big wrench. And if you have to, a bench vise. It'll come off.

For what it's worth, remember that the high pressure gauge is probably a left-hand thread.

i read somewhere else about trying to heat green loctite with a heat gun or a soldering iron, not sure that would be a good idea with a regulator. So i'll try getting a bigger wrench on it..

This is a low side so its right hand, but yes the high sides on this regulator is left hand.
