Hey all. Thought I would throw this out there and see if anyone has any issues with it. Im using the rest of the hops that have been sitting in my freezer for the last 6 months. Thought a pale ale would be a good form of usage. Im looking for a good drinking APA for the summer months with a medium body and strong hop nose and flavour. Last time I made a hopburst with all additions under 30 and i thought it lacked a solid bitter punch, so im keeping 1/2 ounce of simcoe at 60 along with the FWH. I thought that the golden promise would be a different base grain to try in an APA to provide a solid yet mellow base. Surly Cynic uses it and I really like that beer.
