Would it be ok if I used Wyeast 3056 to ferment my beer but then use WLP320 to prime it a few days before bottling? I know they are not the same but I just happen to have the WLP320 on hand and need to use it and thought maybe it would be ok since fermentation was complete.

Why do you need to prime the 3056? I personally would use dry yeast if you feel the need, instead of wasting more expensive liquid yeast. I use notty for priming super high grav beers.

It is a higher gravity beer. The maple wheat from Clone Brews. My wlp320 is getting old and i have nothing else to use it for at the moment. Just wanted to make sure it wouldnt somehow change the character of the beer.
