Took a trip to Mineral Point, Wisconsin a couple of weeks ago. We were out of season, so many shops were closed, but we still had a great couple of days. We stayed at the Brewery Creek Inn, a nice inn built into an 1854 Cornish warehouse. They have five awesome rooms, and a very cool pub. The owner is also the brewer. Pretty good beer. I really liked the stout. The food was also excellent. I had coffee crusted steak. Really well made. It rooms were not cheap, but they were worth the price, so I would say it was fair.
We also stopped in New Glarus for a tasting. Very nice brewery. Awesome IPA and stout. I'm iffy on that Spotted Cow.
After that we stopped at the old Huber brewery (second oldest in US!). Cool place. Not as exciting as the other two.
I recommend the trip.
