Alrighty, while I'm awaiting my water to boil, I was getting my first dose of hops ready for my ipa. Opened up my package of nugget pellets, only to find they are nearly completely crushed into a powder.

Should I still put them in, or should I pitch them and just be an ounce short?

Thank god, that was the answer I was hoping for.

and the zombie apocalypse is coming? why didn't anybody warn me sooner. I might have to brew a second batch today to hold me over for a while.

Pellet hops are crushed to dust and then compressed into pellets.. It's their natural form.

I know you might be tempted to snort a line of that hoppy dust... but don't. Trust me. ;)

Yeah, I think i accidently inhaled some when I took a good whiff of them, because they smell delicious.

My nose burned for about half an hour.
