My BCS Cali Common has been working away for 2 weeks, and I'm just wondering if this beer needs a lagering phase before drinking? Jamil doesn't mention it in the book, but I swore I read somewhere that you should.
Wyeast 2112 Cali Common, does it need lagering phase?

It certainly doesn't hurt, Anchor does but historically it was conditioned more like a UK Real Ale.
