I'm considering brewing AHS's New England Brewing Company's Sea Hag Kit. I'll be doing the Minimash. The kit calls for lager yeast and I've only used ale yeast in the past.

-Between these two yeasts, Wyeast 2112 or Saflager S-23 (dry) would there be a noticble difference?

-Anything I would have to do differently with fermenting with these yeasts?

The fermenting beer would probably be in the 60's however I could put it in my basement to ferment which might drop the temp slightly lower.

I'm using the wyeast 2112 right now and saw that it was recommended to ferment at 60f. Outside of that i think it just takes a little longer to finish up. Not sure on the diff. between s-23 and the 2112 except the s-23 is obviously a dry yeast and probably wouldn't need a starter. g'luck :rockin:
