Hello
Has anybody used private preserve for their beer?I am thinking of getting some and use it at bottling to extend my cellaring time..what do yall think?

I don't think you should use anything like that beer alone has it own preserving properties as long as you didn't oxidize the beer it should last as long as you want to store it.

This is for opened bottles of wine. Not properly bottled, closed bottles of beer....

If you are bottle carbing, you're essentially already doing this. The yeast will develop enough CO2 to prevent oxidation. If you keg, you can always shoot a little CO2 into your bottle and it will also accomplish this. However, I find that with the CO2 that releases from the beer during transfer to bottles, even this is not necessary. I just fill the bottle and cap...good to go.
