Omerta is a massive and very extensive game. It is online at Omerta
It is set in the ole gangster days (think prohibition times).
You commit various crimes to accumulate ranking and wealth.
You start families that gain power based on wealth and ranking of it's members. Then there are wars between families fighting for turf in various cities.
You can buy bodyguards and all kinds of different weapons to strengthen your account.
Right now they are doing a free for all befroe the game is reset on Friday. Reset means that everyone will start as a beginner again...so basically it is a start over.
During this free-for-all you can get used to game and its features. I highly recommend the game if you like online text based games. Its a game that you can play and build your account for months....pretty fun stuff.
