Simpson's golden naked oats in a blonde ale?

I'm trying to come up with a easy drinking light beer for a fantasy football draft party. I have Simpson's golden naked oats and was thinking of adding them to my blonde ale. Yooper stated how much she likes them and I have them on hand. I haven't used them in something like this but figured the smooth berry/nut flavor may be nice? Has anyone tried these in a lighter beer where you can't hide flaws very easy? If so, did it taste nice or was it overpowering?
