I am brewing an American Light Lager and my receipt calls for 2# flaked rice. I don’t have but 1# of flakes, but I do have several lbs. of Rice Syrup Solid.
Does anyone know what’s the ratio I should use to substitute Rice Syrup Solids for Flaked Rice?

Rice syrup solids are 100% efficient rice flakes.. take your mash efficiency and it is simple math.. personally I'd go 1:1 there is never any harm in increasing the alc% without adding color/flavor/taste
