I am ready to order the pots for a small 2.5 gallon Brutus 20 I am planning to build I am trying to figure out the falso bottom portion. I already know I want to go with the false bottom as opposed to the SS hose braid. I think I am going to just use a generic 5-6 gallon SS pot for the mash tun (and of course add tons of insulation to the outside) but I am wondering how well a false bottom will work. Here is what I am thinking of ordering but I was hoping someone else here may have done something similar and might have some input.
