AHA Mead Day.

Saturday August 2nd is Mead Day.
This will be a very interesting day for me, as I will be attending a brew event fund raiser held by Colorado Farm Bureau to benefit the town of Windsor Colorado that was hit by a tornado this summer. I will be making a mead to celebrate, but I will be making it in a hotel room 250 miles from home. Perhaps I can lasso a few people in to come and help.

We are going to be in Copper Mountain this weekend, so I will be making mead away from home.
What an exciting experiment. I will be taking some honey in case I don't find anything Local up in the Colorado Mountains, but I'm fairly sure I'll get some found. We will be taking a few different yeast packets with us and use whatever seems to fit what we find.

I'll be a few days late for this recipe... I did the big brew day so I plan on doing the mead day too. I've been shopping around for some honey for my next mead; at least I have my recipe now.
