Is a 6 gallon carboy enough to primary ferment I got a 5 gallon batch in thank you. I'm at a store and they have two for $25 apiece
 
You can 6.5 will be a little better during fermentation. Def go with a blow off tube because of head space.
 
I use 6 gal plastic better bottles for 5 gal batches. Works fine, but as said, make sure you use a blowoff. Especially on any high gravity beers. Or you will have a big mess on hand
 
That's a great price. I would definitely grab them. If you use Fermcap you can greatly reduce blowoff activity and you'll be fine
