Hello all, recipe I came up with using the approx. 2 oz. of my home grown chinook hops. Please read it through and give me your thought to make it better.
6# Light LME
1# Light DME
8 oz. biscuit malt
8 oz. 60L or 40L not sure?
8 oz. carapils
1 oz. cascade 60min.
.5 oz. amarillo 15 min.
approx. 1 oz. chinook leaf 10 min.
.5 oz. amarillo 5 min.
approx. 1 oz. chinook leaf at flame out
Safale us-05 yeast
I am looking for a middle of the road hoppy beer with good hop flavor and aroma, not so much bitterness. I calculated this at 47 IBU.
Your thoughts, not set in stone yet.
Forgot to mention if this matters, I do full boils.
Thanks
