Has anyone ever gotten into canning their beer? I want to put my beer in cans.

Thats about the only reason I can think of for canning to be honest - beer from cans ALWAYS tastes nasty. I've never had a beer from a can which didn't taste metallic. Bottles any day.Chrus said:Thats awesome. I wanna can my brew just so i can drink it out of my beer helmet...
sirsloop said:Well cans have a coating on the inside so the beer never touches the metal. More likely, canned beer always tastes like crap because they put crappy beer in there.
Guinness out of a can isnt bad....

Compared to what? I think it tastes better out of a bottle to be honest.I don't know if cans are slightly permeable or something.sirsloop said:Guinness out of a can isnt bad....

cnbudz said:Yeah, that's one of the first things I was taught about sailing. I think the lesson went port=left, starboard=right, bow=front of the boat, stern=where you take a leak
