This year was quite bad for my hops, drought, spider mites, hop merchants, ect. I recently set up an irrigation system doing 2 gals per hr for a total of 8 gallons of water twice a week and the plants have came back like no other. Each bine had no leaves to speak of but now at each node the side arms are going wild. My question is this, do i continue to feed with a 22-6-20 fert once a week with the same watering schedule and try to get as much green growth for next year? Or should i push a high phosphorus fert to possibly get some cones this year? They are two year old plants btw with 15' of original bine length with side arms at each node.
