Working on a RIS to finish up a spring series of beers using re-pitched Cal Ale yeast. Started with 10 gallons of a Blond Ale, brewing an IPA and a brown ale this weekend, and plan to repitch a Barleywine and and RIS to finish the series.

It's a pretty insane grain bill...I usually tend to go much simpler.
What do you think...

Looks like a tastey brew right there. While I was packing up hops for shipment, my brew partner noticed a sweet smell from the chinook pellets. It did have a sweeter smell than the other hops that I am used to. Did you pick that variety for those flavors?

Picked Chinook for the aggressive bittering. I figure that this wont retain a ton of hop character after it ages out, but I want the hops to match the malt in terms of boldness.
