been reading the forums for a bit, and this is my first post

i am making the Pineapple Melomel i found here on the forum, but its a 5 gallon batch.

now two things, 1) i only want to do a 1 Gal test batch for pratice since my and my friend are fairly new at this. 2) i stick to ml & L being in Canada.

here is the recipe i have (original)
3 gal Pineapple Juice
3 Cups Black Tea
10 lbs Wildflower Honey
1 packet Champagne Yeast

my basic conversin is

11356 ml of pineapple juice
720 ml of black tea
10 lbs of wildflower
1 packet of champagne yeast

divide by 5 for a 1 gallon batch is

2271 ml (2.2 l) of pineapple juice
144 ml of black tea
2 lbs of wildflower
1 packet of champagne yeast

or do i have to change the amount of yeast i use?

thanks for the help.

All your calcs look good to me, and the yeast is good for a gallon. Are you sure the original recipe was for 5 gallons, that's the only thing that I wasn't sure on.
