Hello from Northern California

Hey all,
Just wanted to stop by and say Hi.
I'm new to the boards and to Homebrewing.
I have tried my hand once before at brewing beer from a kit and failed horribly at that.
I have however successfully brewed a gallon of sweet Mead and some Blackberry wine. I wasn't to happy with the Mead but loved the Blackberry wine as it had a great taste. Not sure of the alcohol content of either but am guessing it was very low.

Anyway's I am hoping to learn a lot here and look forward to reading the wealth of knowledge here

I'm over on the coast in about 25 miles or so south east of Eureka.
