I'm going to be brewing a Honey Cream Ale tomorrow and I wanted a critique of my recipe. Basically I just took the ingredients of a cream ale kit and added honey and honey malt.
Note: I will be brewing a 2.5 Gallon batch

3.3 lbs. Briess Golden LME
1/4 lbs. Honey Malt
1/4 lbs. Cara-pils
1/4 lbs. Honey (in Primary after a few days of fermentation)

1/2 oz. Cascade @ 60
1/2 oz. Cascade @ 2

My main questions are about the amounts of honey malt and honey. Is that too much honey malt and too little honey? Anything else I missed? I'm just looking for a nice, accessible beer with a bit of honey sweetness, not a honey-bomb or anything like that.

You should be good, I use 1/2 lb honey malt and 2 lbs honey in a 6 gallon batch. you could use more honey but it does not impart much honey sweetness as it mostly ferments out.

Edit: I think you should base the quantity of honey on the container size available to you. You don't want to have to measure honey, just dump it in and rinse it out with hot wort till you got it all.
