What can be used to hold the yeast starter? Is it really necessary to use a glass container. Why not a two liter soda bottle. I know it is not PET but since the yeast will only be in it for about 2 days and the positive pressure produced by the yeast how could oxygen come through the bottle to spoil the starter?
