I am probably going to bottle my True Brew Irish Stout this afternoon. Thought about adding some coffee to the bottling bucket before doing this. Anyone for or agains this? I think my girlfriend has some pretty good quality coffee in the freezer. If I should do this, here are my questions:

1. How much should I add?
2. How do I add it?
3. How do you brew coffee without a coffee maker?
4. Should I just leave it alone?

disclaimer: I KEG

My last stout ended up TOO sweet. So I added 1/2 gallon of really strong coffeee, and it was fantastic.

Bottling? I would roll with it as is, and update the recipe for next time.

I'd probably leave it alone my self. But if you do decide to add the coffee you can cold steep it to reduce the extraction of oil from the coffee. You could bottle half of it undoctored and the other half doctored?? Cheers!!!
