Ive just made my first ever batch of wine tonight and ive followed instructions but i just put cold tap water in and not warm water like it said and now its not bubbling after 4 hours! Have i ruined it? Would puttin more yeast in help it? Or will warming it up activate it?

haha just let it be... the yeast's metabolism is just going slower in the cooler water. Once it comes up to room temp it'll get going by tomorrow. No worries.

They're dividing slower. Just give 'em a chance to populate the solution. :)

generally I shoot for the solution to be warm 80-90F (25-33C) when all is said and done before I put the yeasties in.
