6lbs light dry malt extract
.50 lb 20l Crystal malt
.50 lb. 40l Crystal malt
1 oz Chinook Hops (bittering)
1 oz Kent Golding's Hops (Flavor)
1 oz Fuggle Hops (aroma)
Start with 3 gallons in your boiling pot. Bring the grains and the water to 155 degrees and steep for 30 minutes.
Bring to a boil-remove from heat and add all malt extract.
Bring this to a boil and bittering hops. boil wort for 45 min.
add the flavoring hops. boil for an additional 15 min.
Chill wort to 75 degrees, top off to 5 gallons and pitch. (should be about 2 1/2 gallons)
Primary ferment for 1 week at temps below 75 degrees.
Dry hop (Aroma hops) secondary fermentation for 2 weeks.
Bottle or Keg condition for 3 weeks and Enjoy!
