My keg of Belgian Strong just breathed it's last. :( It's the first keg through the new kegerator, and I was thinking about cleaning the corny, then putting some cleaning solution in it and feeding it through the line and tap under pressure.

Good idea? Stupid idea? Better way?

I don't think it's stupid because thats how I do it too..
Flush with some hot water from a pressurized keg, and then again with starsan.

Much like my procedure. I clean my kegs with Oxyclean and hot water and run that through my draft system. When I've finished rinsing my keg with hot water I run the hot water through to rinse the Oxyclean out. I empty the hot water from the keg and "dry" the tap lines with CO2 as much as possible. I won't run sanitizer through until I'm ready to use the tap again.

I clean my kegs with hot water and Dawn. Then flush the lines with the same mixture. Followed by a flushing with Iodophor, then leave the iodophor in the lines til I tap them agian. I have no idea if this is good or bad, but it's what I do and it seems to work.
