I don't know why this is so cool to me... washed some s-04 yeast 4 months ago and forgot about it in the back of the fridge. Mashed a pound of 2 row in a gallon of water and boiled down to maybe 3 qts...pitched in the yeast slurry then decanted it, tossed the decanted slurry into an oatmeal stout and it is going like crazy.. FOUR MONTHs OLD!! That amazes me for some reason.
