This is a recipe that my brother made back in 1988. He can't remember where he got it from or if he made it up himself. All I remember is that it tasted fantastic and I'm planning on trying to replicate it myself in the near future.
Brown Ale No. 12
1 tsp gypsum
10 lbs pale ale malt (2 row)
1 lb crystal malt (2 row)
¼ lb chocolate malt (2 row)
1 oz bullion hop pellets (bittering)
½ oz Northern brewer hop pellets (bittering)
½ oz Northern brewer hop pellets (finishing)
¼ oz Fuggle hop pellets (finishing)
½ tsp Irish Moss
1 pkg Edme Yeast
