I brewed my first batch of beer today! It went mostly well except for the filter falling into bucket as I was pouring the wort from the boil pot. (had to rack it and filter it into another bucket, blah!)
It is an American Wheat style Hefe with:
Wyeast 1010
Flaked Wheat
Wheat
Pale Malt
Wheat LME
Hallertauer and Tettnang hops
Orange peel and corriander
it's O.G. is 1.052 and it smells yummy!
My homemade Wort Chiller I built on Wednesday worked awesome too, I am so satisfied with it!
I named it Dakota Shine in honor of my niece who is going to be born sometime later today.
