i finally contaminated a beer. my seventh beer (banana bread ale) has a pronounced rubbery character. This beer fermented like crazy, my first beer that needed a blow off tube. I used a better bottle with a rubber stopper and a 1/2 inch tube connected to it. The rubber defect tastes exactly how the stopper smelt. do you think when i add the cinnamon and vanilla and almond extracts it will cover up the defect?

Maybe it will go away if you age it for a month? The cinnamon and vanilla could definitely help to disguise it, especially if it starts to go away.
