So I brewed up a 1 gallon barleywine about a month and a half ago, everything went great and the hydro sample was fantastic

When I went to move to secondary, I pumped my auto siphon and didn't realize the siphon tube came out of the jug!
I wanted to secondary it for 6 months and bottle for 6 months. Is this too much headspace for extended secondary? Should I just bottle for a year?

no insight from any HBT heavy hitters? id really hate to oxidize this batch. thanks in advance

It looks like from the picture that there is still some activity. Any CO2 created will provide a protective layer (it's heavier than O2) and push the O2 out. As long as you don't shake it or move it alot, it should be fine in secondary. That being said, I'd wrap it to prevent the hops from skunking in that clear gallon jug.
