Does anyone know what sizes of O-rings are used to outfit a Cornelius keg? Are there different sizes for Ball lock and Pin lock? I have both. I thought it might be more economical to buy in bulk from McMaster-Carr.

Bobby: Thanks! However, I don't see that number as a catalogue number in their website. Are the numbers you gave me sizes?

**edit** I found what you were referring to...thanks! Do you use only silicone?

Restating the second part of my original question: Are the O-ring sizes the same for both Ball Lock and Pin Lock cornies?

The sizes are close enough for both kegs. The posts are SLIGHTLY larger on pin locks so the #111 stretches out a little bit. I've also used #112 on a pinlock and it seems a slight bit loose on the post recess until you put the disconnect on. I haven't tried it, but a #205 might be the sweet spot for a pinlock since the ID/OD is about the same but the crossectional diameter is .139" instead of .103" on the #111.

Unfortunately (ish), the #111 works well enough that I can't justify buying 50 more to try it.

Bobby: Thanks for clarifying. This is the reason why Northern Brewer had to 'part out' a set of gaskets for the 10 pin locks that I inherited. They didn't want to sell me the stock gasket replacement kit.

I found this video...

The video says BS 008

I mic'd out my o-rings, which are in pretty bad shape, but the size looks correct. 0.070, 3/16 id, 5/16 od.

mcmaster has these

I opt'd for the square ones, because I don't think the o-rings are round.

Unfortunately, the square ones are $10/100 and the round ones are only $2.

Anybody have an opinion on square vs round?

Just in case anyone is looking for the poppet o-rings from McMaster I just ordered the BunaN ones under p/n 9452K16 (as568a Dash number 008) for $2.08 for a pack of 100.
