OK well I wasn't going to clutter the forums with yet another "what do you think of my water" posts, but this thread left me thinking that I should submit my data to the brightest lights (i.e. Martin and AJ) of the Science forum.
So here's my results from Ward Labs. My water is from East Bay MUD, and the source is Sierra Nevada snowmelt. The water was sampled in early February so it should be from pretty full reservoirs.
Obviously, very soft and very low alkalinity. I've started to add calcium chloride and/or gypsum to the mash water to provide some calcium.
For comparison, here is the data from the 2010 EBMud water report
Any thoughts?
