I have an Imperial IPA fermenting away in the closet and I was getting ready to rack to a secondary in the next couple of days. I have some extra hops on hand and was thinking maybe I'd throw them in the secondary with my beer for a couple of weeks. The hops I have are Goldings (pellets) and Sterling (whole). Nothing I've Googled says that these are good hops for dry hopping. What do you guys think? Should I just throw them in and see what happens? Or do I risk wasting the hops and ruining the beer?
