The first photo is my nearly opaque Maris Otter/Centennial SMASH. Through inattention and poor planning (i.e., possibly hammered while brewing) I got a weak-arse hot break and forgot that I had run out of Irish moss. Result? Opaque, but tasty beer. This photo was after a month in the keg at serving temperature.
Second photo is a nearly identical recipe and process, only with Golden Promise instead of Maris Otter (so ... a totally different recipe) and I got a stellar hot break and used Whirlifloc. Photo is after ten days in the keg. (Bucky Badger is on the opposite side of the glass). This stuff is nearly crystal clear already.
Anyway, that's all. Cheers!
