Ok started the batch with a OG of 1.039...

My question is I racked it to my secondary with a SG of 1.015 and I was wondering if this was a good thing to do. I assume it will ferment in the secondary to hopefully 1.000 or maybe like my last one of 0.990. Does this sound good or will it be very very weak beer?

Thanks,
Marc

It probably won't go much below 1.010, so it'll be fairly weak. Next time add the top-up water until you get the OG you want as generally your beer will turn out a bit weak if you follow the directions. I made that kit with a 1.050ish OG a couple times and it turned out great.

Just think, you'll probably go to AG soon too!
