While in the process of cooling wort after a 60 min boil, an ice cube fell into the hot wort and melted before being able to be retrieved. Could this single ice cube ruin my batch of beer and cause a contamination?

i'm no expert but i would say your fine. i think there are people on here that put the ice in on purpose
Of course its possible, but very unlikely. Don't worry! 
Despite what others are saying, I'm here to tell you that your ice cube is ruined.

hahaha, I agree, that ice cube is not usable any longer.
Damn, I'm sorry to hear that...I hate when Ice gets ruined.
At least you'll have a nice beer in a few weeks to drink in memory of it.
I, for one, would like to commend you. At least we know now that there won't be any more installments of Barbershop or Are We There Yet?
