Hello,

Embarrassing to admit this, after bottling my second brew ever, an American IPA, I placed them directly into my refrigerator. Some time around 3 AM in the morning, I realized the gaffe I immediately moved the bottles to a cool dark room. They ended up being in the fridge for about 12 ours.

Looking for opinions, did my brain fart kill any possibility of any further fermentation taking place in the bottle while completely destroying the carbonation process? Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you.

Cold will just make yeast go dormant. As long as you take them out of the fridge and put them around 70F you should be fine.

Take them out of the fridge, let them hit ~70 degrees F if possible, and wait three weeks. You'll have nicely carbed beer.
