Currently warming water for my first BIAB and having a Hob Goblin while I'm at it. No home brew on tap , the last two kegs went too fast. Anyways...tried googling beer smith BIAB calculation set up and think I have it down, but wanted to run it by some of your ole pros.
My set up isn't large enough to do a full BIAB; however, I'm using a sticky on here to complete my first one. So:
8 lbs of grain
Mash in at 152F using 2.5 gal
Batch sparge (tea bag sparge?) with 170F 4 gal?
add everything and boil as usual. If not...better tell me now. This is a five gallon batch of course. I'm mashing now.
