Ok say we've made some solid extract kits thinking of going to all grain, but going to have to do 10 gallon batches. I have ALOT of questions! Think 10 gallons is doing too much for a beginner?

Doing 10 gallons is no harder than doing 5 gallons- it's just the volume that changes and not the amount of work or the technique.

As long as your equipment is big enough to handle the 10 gallon batch, you'll be fine!

A 10 gallon cooler for the MLT can work, but it will limit you to about 1.065 OG beers. So, many people go bigger. You'd need a boil kettle of at least 15 gallons, but 20+ gallons would be better. Also, a way to chill that much wort is important!

I'm a weakling, so for my 10 gallon batches I feel like I need a pump, but I didn't for 5 gallon batches.
