Blow off tube whole fermentation?

Any reason not to use a blow off tube throughout fermentation? I changed to no-chill brewing and use kegs for primary. Unfortunately my kegs with airlocks don't fit in my fermentation chamber I built for carboys, but they do with blow off tubes.
 
A blow off tube is technically an airlock, so there is no problem at all with using one for the entire fermentation.
 
Logically I didn't see any problem with it. I just see threads about using a blow off tube for the first few days or so then switching to airlock. Never saw the point in the switch really.
