I was carrying my 3 gallon better bottle of cider down the stairs and I missed a step. I was one step from the bottom and launched the carboy to the hardwood floor. The air lock didn't fly off immediately but it did shortly after. I lost about a quart of cider but quickly put the stopper back on and got it upright. I'm not sure how much oxidation affects cider but since I just pitched the yeast the day before I'm not that worried either way. What do you guys think?
Oh yeah and the airlock went nuts later in the day and stayed active til I went to bed.
