I am about ready to go to Keg with a batch ... Thing is my CO2 reg is not in so I do not have all my gear for my setup yet ...

So the question is ... If I Rack my Secoundary to my Corny ... Is it ok to seal it up and let it sit with out CO2 on it? And if so how long can it sit before I get CO2 on it? (It is an organic stout --- It has been in Ferm for 4 weeks)

Why would you want to do that? You'd risk oxidation by not being able to purge the keg with CO2. I'd strongly suggest leaving it in the secondary until you get your regulator.

ok ... That is the answer I was looking for ... If I can not get it on CO2 as soon as it is Racked to the Keg then I will leave it in the secoundary till I have all my gear in place ... Just did not want to be force to bottle the batch (may not have my gear for a few more weeks).

THANKS! :mug:
