so im new to all this....i was thinking of making a strawberry wine for my second batch. anyway, i want to make 3 gallons probably. right now i only have a 7 gallon primary. would it cause any problems to do the 3 gallons in the 7 gallon primary? any help or opinions would help. thnx!

agreed. primary throws so much CO2 that a big vessel is preferred.

For secondary you'd really want a 3 gallon carboy. Or three 1 gallon jugs :)
