Reason is, I love Stoudt's Brewing Smooth Hoperator-real hoppy Bock. I thought I had picked up WL833, oops. So I wanted to see what the thoughts were on something like below, or just do a standard lager with what I have on hand. I have the starter going using Malta Goya, another experiment.
Let me know what the thoughts are, don't want to waste the yeast for a frankenstein brew that may not work.
thanks

11 Lb Maris Otter Malt (Thomas Fawcett)
3Lb Vienna
1.8Lb Munich
8 Oz flaked Barley
~
60 mins 1.0oz Galena
10 mins 1.0oz Amarillo/Simcoe
5 Mins 1.0 oz Amarillo/Simcoe
Flameout 2oz Simcoe

Its my go-to lager yeast, ferments out dry and clean at 50F. I think its going to ferment drier than 833 is all. You might want to include a little caramunich to sweeten things up a bit.
