I'm looking to clone this beer as my first attempt at an IIPA. This is the profile of the beer from the website.

malts
Premium Two-Row (Metcalf & Kendall varieties), Munich, Simpson's Light Crystal
hops
4+lbs/BBL: Bittering—Warrior, Columbus; Late Kettle—Cascade, Centennial; Dry Hops—Amarillo, Cascade, Centennial, Simcoe

I could use some help with the malts on this recipe… I'm guessing that the Two-Row can be subbed with Light DME, but I"m not sure what to do for the Munich and the Light Crystal.

Here is my attempt at the recipe

wasn't a bad beer but nothing close. I've since gone AG and actually brewed my first attempt at the clone yesterday.

Take a look at this article.. Scott basically takes Tasty and Jamil's podcast, summarizes and puts all the pieces together. Amazing work by everyone on this.

This is the recipe that I made yesterday (although had to sub 007 for 002 and a minor bittering hop change). Are you looking to do extract? Partial Mash?

if you do a mini mash, (i don't think steeping the munich will have the desired effect) you can probably get close.. I'd definitely like to see how it turns out for you.
