Well I got my 2000ml flask, air lock and stir bar from NB today. so I'll finish up my stirplate.

I also ran over to Science and Surplus and got myself 6 40ml Pyrex type test tubes, 6 stoppers to fit said test tubes, a glass stir rod, glass funnel, 500ml beaker, and a 25ml pipet. (about $25)

Gonna use some of my left over polystyrene to make a nice litte test tube holder to hold my new test tubes and keep them in the freezer for me so the freeze thaw cycles dont kill my yeast.

I may run over to the LHBS and pick up some malt to start working on my Miabock ale tomarrow . . . if I can get my pumkin ale bottled tonight.

I don't think freezing your yeast is a good idea, ales yeasts can't form spores. Unless you are using one of the special suspension solutions.

Where did you get your flasks?

Hey also--keep Oct. 27th free. SWMBO and I will be in Milwaukee for the night. My Mom lives right by the lake (Prospect Ave.) so we'll be bar-hopping for sure. Maybe we can meet up for a brew? Does Milwaukee have any good beer? :p

You mean the test tubes? http://www.sciplus.com/category.cfm?category=42 About 60th and Oklahoma, check it out if ya get a chance when you come up

Killer :ban:

I'll check and make sure to try and get that day off if I am working. We have a couple decent brewpubs right downtown

Plus ya can always do the Sprecher brewery tour http://www.sprecherbrewery.com/tours.php (although brewpastor has a cooler set up then they do) and Lakefront Brewery offers a tour http://www.lakefrontbrewery.com/analog.asp

**EDIT**
I just checked I HAVE the 27th off, but I think I may need to make a trade and get the 28th off if we are going to do some drinking. Consider it a date

BTW thats the coolest freeking store in the State, best part is it's right down the Street from the best booze store in the State - Discount Liquor 51st and Oklahoma

No, the 2000ml flasks. Everywhere I look, they are like 15-20 bucks a pop.

Wicked. Keep in mind, I'll have SWMBO and my Mom along (although she is cool as ****), so it may not be a stoopid late night for us--but I'm definitely game for meeting up and putting back a few!

Been there. The wall of beer is truly amazing. I absolutely LOVE that store.

Ahhhhh, went to NB for that one. It was $20 and AS&S too so I figured since I had a order going in for Pacman yeast may as well toss that in and get my shipping costs worth.
