Hi all,

I am trying out my Brett C in a second adventure as i enjoyed the results of my Wild Cherry Saison so much. This time i'm going with Duvel/Chimay as the primary yeast strains following up with Brett C and 2 kgs of Turkish figs in a 4 gallon 9% test batch. Should be fun and don't forsee and problem going to the bathroom for a while once its bottled! :)

Fun blog. That wild cherry saison has me thinking. Maybe soon. Cheers.

Cheers guys,

Its all good fun, i am hoping that the alchemey of fermentation takes away whatever it is in figs that makes them good to know during blockage times! Only time will tell!

Cheers mate,

Glad you like them. One of the many enjoyable aspects of brewing! In fact i can't think of an unenjoyable aspect. Even bottle and kettle cleaning are ok.

A mate of mine has just asked me to brew him a batch of the Wild Cherry Saison. Its quote 'The best beer i've ever drunk'. Heck, he's even trying to pay me for it. This is a nice place to be! :)
