today I bottled my dunkelweizen. it tastes great!

now, since it's my first dunkelweizen, I was surprised by the suggested CO2 level that I got from an online calculator. it says 4,2.

this means that I had to add 8.5 oz of priming sugar to 5 gallons.

I already did it so there's no way back, but I am quite afraid of bottle bombs. My pale ale was primed with only 4 oz of priming sugar, and it is by now (2 weeks) very carbonated.

I use bottles from different commercial beers that I collected over time.

should I fear?
