I have done about 5 extract kits and want to look into doing an all grain or two, I have already made a mash tun out of an orphaned Igloo Ice Cube cooler in the attic and I have the typical turkey frier boiling equipment so I think I can make it work without any more special equipment. I was thinking on doing a simple pale ale, maybe 10lbs of 2 row, 2 oz of cascade at 60 and an once of Amerillo at 5. Any suggestions for mash temp or grain additions like crystal 40? I was reading in the sticky above that I want about 1.5 quarts of mash water per pound of grain and 1/2 gallon per lb of sparge water.
